Description

If you are traveling to Bucharest and if you have just a limited time to discover Romania, this tour is the perfect way to visit some of the most interesting sites including the south part of the magnificent region of Transylvania.

In the first day you will see Peles Castle – the former residence of the Romanian Royal Family and a masterpiece of the German Neo-Renaissance style and the city of Brasov. The second day is dedicated to the citadel of Sighisoara and the famous Bran Castle.

• This is a shared tour, so you will join a small-group (usually no more than 7 people), but, if you want, you can book a private trip with the same itinerary here.
• We can confirm bookings for single travelers on this tour on the following dates: 04, 08, 10, 13, 18, 27 July 2018, 11, 15, 21, 22, 31 Aug 2018, 01, 09, 20, 29 Sep 2018, 20 Oct 2018.
• If you make an online booking for a single traveler, the total amount will be blocked on your credit card and either charged if we can confirm the tour on your date or rejected if the tour cannot be confirmed for your date.
• This tour is not suitable for families with children under 7. We strongly recommend to book a private tour (with the same itinerary) in this case. At this moment, you cannot book online if you travel with children 8 to 12 years old. Please call or send us an email in this case.
• If you are travelling alone, it is mandatory to book a single room (normal price + single supplement)
• We will book the hotel as soon as you book the tour so the sooner you book the tour, the higher the chances to book a good hotel (based on our previous experience, location, services).
• 3* is a good standard for hotels in Sighisoara and we did not have complaints. However, if you want to book a 4* or 5* hotel for this trip, we recommend to book the private tour.
• The following types of rooms are available: Single = Room for single use, Double = Room with one double/matrimonial bed, Twin = Room with two individual beds (you will be able to chose the type of room in the next step of the online booking).
• Please note that the Clock Tower/History Museum in Sighisoara is closed on Mondays, so please take this info into consideration when you make the booking for this tour, as Sighisoara will be visited on Day 2 of the trip.
• Between 16 September and 15 May, Peles castle is open from Wednesday to Sunday only. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the Rasnov Citadel will be visited instead.
• Between 2 November and 1 December, Peles Castle is closed for cleaning. During this period, you will be able to visit his smaller replica - Pelisor Castle.
